Central Alberta Quilters' Guild

Sharing our love of quilting

Our Central Alberta quilters' guild unites quilters each month for our meeting, show and tell and inspirational presentations. Members reap the benefits of a positive community of like-minded makers, improving their skills and sharing their knowledge. We have an extensive program of local and international instructional sessions, virtual and in-person retreats, challenges, improv bees, and hand stitching nights. Guild members also have access to a large library of books for signing out. The CAQG is highly responsive to the needs of the community, by donating quilts and other hand made items to worthy organizations and individuals. In the spring, we host an annual quilt show featuring beautiful quilts and a variety of vendors.

In Memory of Ann Barlow

1943-2023

We have lost a valued member of our Guild recently. Ann will be remembered for her smile, her sense of humour, her willingness to volunteer on any committee and especially for her dedication to the Youth Quilters who entered our quilt shows. Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time. She will be greatly missed. Obituary of Ann Barlow.
