Monthly Meeting

The Annual General Meeting will begin at 6pm.
When that has concluded, the regular monthly meeting will occur. Please enjoy our November Guild meeting presentation, where Terry Rowland will introduce us to her beautiful collection of Collage Quilts.
All blocks for The Lucky Stitches Quilt (formerly known as the Christmas Quilt) must be handed in to Bev Close no later than the November 6th meeting.
CAQG – Paint Chip Challenge
The quilt guild's Paint Chip Challenge requires members to create a quilt using colors inspired by a paint chip supplied by the Programs Team.
Specific rules around the Paint Chip Challenge:
• 3 colors from the paint chip must be used within the quilt • only 2 other colors can be used in the front side (pieced side) of the quilt • the finished quilt can be no larger that 100” in perimeter (eg. 24 x 24 quilt is 96 inches in perimeter) • the chosen paint chip must be displayed with the finished quilt • the miniature Paint Chip Quilt can be a pattern or your own design • must be finished for Show n Share at the April 2 Guild Meeting
****Need a Paint Chip Envelope – they will be available at the November and December meetings too.
The Quilt Show Committee will also be using this as the Guild Challenge at the 2026 Quilt Show for the Guild Challenge Display, if you choose to enter your quilt in this category.
Christmas Quilt
The 2024 Quilt was won by Bev Close!! Terry Rowland collected blocks for this quilt using the Friendship block pattern and made this design. Bev has chosen a couple of mini blocks to complete her 2025 Quilt. See the instructions attached to the newsletter.

Guild Retreats

Once a year, in the fall, we hold a guild retreat for 4 days of fun and sewing! There are also several Sleep In Your Bed (SIYOB) retreats throughout the year.
