Mystery Bus Shop Hop
Come and have some Fall Fun! Who doesn’t love a road trip?!
When: Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026
Where: Depart from Staples/Costco parking lot
Time: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Cost: $55.00 per person + GST

Bring a bagged lunch and beverages and join the mystery. Where will we go? North, South, East or West? There is only one way to find out. Join us for fun and games, and great shopping!
In Person Sew Days - 2026/27
Grab your machine, and a project or two and enjoy a day spent with other guild members. Lots of laughter, creativity and fun happens on these in person sew days. Monthly, on a Monday!

This group coordinates various community outreach initiatives and projects for guild members to join together and support agencies in Red Deer and the larger Central Alberta Community.

Virtual Sew Days
The First Tuesday and the Third Wednesday of every month
Next meet-ups: September 16, 2026 (twice monthly will start in October)
Location: Zoom - watch Facebook for the link.
Time: 9:00 am till 4:00 pm
Sew in the comfort of your own home on a project(s) of your choice, with no need to pack up your machine or supplies, all while enjoying the company of other guild members. No need to register in advance, just come and go as you like.
The Zoom link will be posted on the CAQG Private Facebook page the week before.
Show and Share and Door Prizes will be included.

Care Quilting
This group meets twice a month (second and fourth Wednesday of each month) and is always looking for helpers to quilt the quilt sandwiches they prepare. If you are interested in contributing to the objective of the guild in this way, please reach out to Elaine Coumont.
