In Person Sew Days - 2025

Grab your machine, and a project or two and enjoy a day spent with other guild members. Lots of laughter, creativity and fun happens on these in person sew days.
SIYOB Retreats for 2025-2026
The next Sleep in Your Own Bed Retreats will be
February 21-24 & April 11-14
Saturday: 3:00pm - 8:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am - 8:00pm
Monday: 9:00am - 8:00pm
Tuesday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Cost: $36.75 for all 4 days. (includes GST)

Virtual Sew Days

Time: 9:00 am till 4:00 pm
Sew in the comfort of your own home on a project(s) of your choice, with no need to pack up your machine or supplies, all while enjoying the company of other guild members. No need to register in advance, just come and go as you like.
The Zoom link will be posted on the CAQG Private Facebook page the week before.
Show and Share and Door Prizes will be included.

Care Quilting
This group meets twice a month (second and fourth Wednesday of each month) and is always looking for helpers to quilt the quilt sandwiches they prepare. If you are interested in contributing to the objective of the guild in this way, please reach out to Elaine Coumont.

Care 2.0 Quilting
Care 2.0 meets from 3:00PM to 8PM on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Knights of Columbus Hall, immediately following the first Care group.
This group will focus on various outreach initiatives and projects to support organizations in Central Alberta that are within our guild border areas.

Just bring your machine and thread. Kits will be ready for sign out and sewing! Pillowcases and placemats are the projects planned for fall 2025.
