This year we will be featuring Canadian Quilter Kim Caskey.  

Kim Caskey’s journey with sewing and textiles began at the age of five, under the loving guidance of her mother, who instilled in her a lifelong passion for fiber arts. This early introduction laid the foundation for a career defined by creativity, skill, and an enduring love for the textile world.


Kim is a passionate educator and lecturer, inspiring guilds and groups across the globe with her knowledge, enthusiasm, and dynamic teaching style. As a professional, hand-guided, longarm custom quilter, Kim’s work has garnered numerous awards, reflecting her commitment to excellence and innovation. Her unique designs and meticulous attention to detail have earned her widespread recognition in the quilting world.


In addition to her quilting achievements, she also leads quilt and textile tours to worldwide destinations renowned for their artistic heritage, blending travel with hands-on experiences to enrich her clients understanding of global textile traditions.


Today, Kim’s multifaceted career combines custom quilting, teaching, and tour-leading, cementing her reputation as a beloved figure in the international quilting and textile community. Through her work, she continues to ignite the spark of creativity in others, just as her mother did for her so many years ago.

Breakfast Lecture Presentation

Doors open at 7:00 a.m. and breakfast will be available at 7:15 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday mornings with the presentation to follow. Each day Kim has a different presentation. They are:

1. Exploring the World of International Quilt Festivals: A Global Journey of Inspiration

2. Share Jane, A Global, Collaborative Project

Breakfast Lecture ticket holders will enjoy the exclusive opportunity to shop early (approximately 9:00 a.m.) before doors open to the general public at 10:00 a.m.
