There is a separate form for youth entries here.
There is a limit of 7 entries per person (committee will use their judgement if the number of entries is too large for the display area), plus an entry for the Guild Challenge.
Online Quilt Registration opens Monday, February 9, 2026 at 8 AM.
Entry deadline is Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 8 pm. No exceptions or extensions will be provided.
Quilt Intake (Drop-off day) is Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Elks Hall No. 85, 6315- Horn St. Red Deer.
Quilt pick-up takes place May 9, 2026, between 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm at the Westerner. Be sure to have your photo ID in order to pick up your quilt.
The show will take place at the Exhibition Hall of the Westerner in Red Deer on May 8 & 9, 2026.

Quilt Entry Rules
An online entry form is required for each entered item. The accuracy of the form is the responsibility of the entrant.
Some of your quilts/entries may fit into more than one category but only one category can be chosen on the entry form, choose the one category that fits the best.
All entries must be be at least three layers and quilted, except for bags, household items and wearables
All entries must have a sewn-on label identifying the name of the entrant and name of the quilt. The names identified at entry and on the quilt/entry must be the same.
All quilts must have a basted-on sleeve for hanging (of at least 4”). Must be sewn on and edge to edge.
Any quilt deemed unfit to hang will be removed from the show (e.g.. dirty, smelling like smoke, etc.).
Maximum size of any quilt entry will be 480” perimeter (120" X 120"/10 feet X 10 feet).
Identification of the person who has quilted the quilt/entry must be identified
The person entering the quilt will be the person who will win the award.
Quilts/entries that require special handling will be accepted into the show at the discretion of the Quilt Show Committee. If your quilt/entry requires special handling, you must contact the Quilt Show Chair by email (quiltshow@centralalbertaquilters.org) before the registration deadline of 8 pm April 19 to discuss.
